Users and Their Privileges
Students, faculty and staff of the Institute can become the member of the library. A person willing to become a member has to apply for membership on a prescribed form available at the circulation counter. Each member is issued a Identity-cum-Library card which is non transferable. Every member has to come personally to get the book issued, however books can be returned through messengers.
Borrowing Privileges of Library Members
The number of books that may be borrowed and the period of loan for various categories of members are as follows:

Book Bank Service
The Book bank facilities is extended to all SC/ST students and economically backward students of General Category on income basis on producing the Caste and Income Certificate issued from Tehsildar/SDM/Competent Authority. Books will be issued subject to availability at their turn. The book bank charges are as under :

Book Bank facility for SC/ST Category Students
- The SC/ST Category students are required to produce their Caste and Income Certificate issued from Tehsildar/SDM/Competent Authority, in case these are not given in earlier semesters.
- Book Bank Membership Fee is Rs. 7.00 per student per semester.
- Book Lending Fee is Rs. 1.00 per book.
- Maximum Five Books will be issued subject to availability at their turn.
Book Bank facility for Lower Income General Category Students
- General Category students are required to produce their Income Certificate issued from SDM/Tehsildar/Competent Authority, in every semesters. Affidavit will not be accepted.
- Book Bank Membership Fee is Rs. 28.00 per student per semester.
- Book Lending Fee is Rs. 4.00 per book.
- Maximum Five Books will be issued subject to availability at their turn.
